Will and Estate Plan Package – Simple Estate

Every person needs a properly drafted Last Will and Testament, as well as documents that allow others to help with business and medical matters when the need arises.

Why have a written Will?

  • Your estate will be distributed according to your wishes. You can disinherit people who you do not wish to provide for in your Will.
  • You select the people who will care for your minor children.
  • Your beneficiaries can avoid a lengthy probate.
  • You decide who will wind up your affairs.
  • Your estate taxes may be lower.
  • The cost of probate may be reduced, leaving more assets for your beneficiaries.

What if you die without a Will?

  • Your estate will be distributed according to probate laws—your property may not go to the people you intended.
  • The courts or others will determine who should care for your minor children.
  • Probate of your estate will be more complex and will take longer.
  • The courts will select the administrator of your estate.
  • Your estate may pay taxes that could have been avoided.
  • The costs of probate will be higher.

Additional estate planning documents.
